Paul Griebel, Senior Pastor – Pastor Griebel has been shepherding the St. John flock for over 27 years.  He attended St. Paul’s College, Concordia, MO, and Concordia Senior College, Ft. Wayne, IN for his undergratuate degree, and in 1973 graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO with a Master of Divinity.  Before St. John, Pastor Griebel served for nine years in Australia, first in a dual-parish in Adelaide, South Australia, and then in Frankston, Victoria.  His wife of almost 40 years, Cindy, is the second grade teacher in our school.  Paul and Cindy have two grown daughters, Brianna – who lives with her husband Sean in Louisville, KY - and Sarah, who lives in Indianapolis.  Outside of church, Paul & Cindy enjoy working in their little corner of God’s beautiful creation, travelling, and being with their girls.  Pastor Griebel’s passion as a pastor is to help as many people as possible experience just how great God’s love is for each of us.

Angi Deetz, church secretary – Mrs. Deetz is in her second year as church secretary. In addition to her secretary duties, Mrs. Deetz coordinates the church nursery staffing and is the official school spirit leader, as well as the Student Council Advisor. Her husband of 19 years, Ryan, is Service & Technical Manager @ Pranger Enterprises. They have four children at St. John: Marissa (7th grade), Nate (5th), Josh (3rd), and Michael (K). Outside of school, Mrs. Deetz likes to cook & bake, ride around the farm on her 4-wheeler, and spend time with her kids.
